A day After the terrorist attack in pahalgam left 26 people dead, prime minister Narendra modi on wednesday chaired a meeting of the cabinet committee security to take stock of the situation and deliberate on the government's strategy
Besides prime minister Home minister Amit shah Defence minister Rajnath singh Defence minister and External Affairs s jaishankar were present at the meeting along with national security Advisor Ajit Doval and senior Bureaucrats.
During the meeting that lasted over two and a half hours shah briefed the prime minister on the attack and discussed the measure to be taken in the aftermath.
The meeting that started around 6 pm and ended around 8:30 pm was held the prime minister 7 lok Nayak marg residence.
Finance minister Nirmala sitharaman who is also part of the Cabinet committee could not attend the meeting as she is on her way back from the United States after cutting....
